2019-20
Our teams thrive on competition and battle hard in every tournament, with the unflagging support of bench staff and parents.
January 31-February 2 — From sky to sea, U14AA Red and Blue flew through stormy skies into BC’s lower mainland for a weekend of intense competition. The teams fought hard through a field of seven teams to meet each other in an intense, edge-of-your-seat semi-final. Red went on to the final to win Silver, and Blue claimed Bronze. Both teams rose to the challenge and finished strong.

January 17-19 — All three of our U14AA teams White, Red, and Blue competed in front of their hometown fans in a field of 12 teams that was deep in talent from across Western Canada. The frigid -30C weather couldn’t get in their way. A strong showing by all three teams with Blue making it through to the semi-finals, but all landed just outside medal contention. A great weekend of ringette.
December 13-15 — At this holiday-infused tournament (formerly the Central AB Ice Breaker), our U14AA White and Blue teams found snowy weather, down-home competition, and Christmas dinner served out of crockpots. With six teams rounding out their division, our teams dug deep but landed out of medal contention. A fun weekend, with great ringette.
December 4-8 — On a jet plane out east, our U14AA Red brought their team mojo to compete in Winnipeg, with seven teams in their division. Challenging their way through, Red ended up in the ‘battle of Alberta’ final match vs. Zone 2, and took the Gold in OT. Nice work!

Nov 28-Dec 1 — On a jet plane out west: This tournament ran alongside the 2019 WRCs, and our U14AA Blue and White attended with four teams in their division. Congrats to Blue for winning Silver vs. St. Albert Mission and White for their Bronze vs. LMRL Thunder. In between games, there was enthusiastic cheering for Team Canada at the 2019 WRCs. Juniors won Gold, and the Seniors claimed Silver against exceptional Finland teams. An exciting world-class ringette event weekend, and proud outcome.

Nov 8-10 — On the road and on the team bus, all three of our U14AA teams (White, Red, Blue) took their game and team spirit to the open skies of Saskatchewan for the first major tournament of the season. A nine-team U14AA division, our teams rallied through, with Red playing their way to the final match, winning Gold vs. Buffalo Plains Rush. Congrats! Great effort from all teams, what a weekend.
